This was one of my first projects during my training, where I chose the typeface Antique Olive, created in 1962 at the Olive foundry in Marseille. I picked it less for its graphic qualities than for the story it carried and my attachment to Marseille and the south of France. Today, I would probably not make the same choice, but at that time my beginner’s naïveté became the project’s strength: I dared to break some rules, like using wave-shaped titles, while also learning the discipline of page layout.
